Musical Life History:
Driven by the passionate need to create musical opportunities for students, I found myself studying both instrumental and vocal music education attending Ball State University—a perfect match.  Throughout my college career I was a member of the Pride of Mid-America Marching Band, traveling throughout the US and even Canada to represent my university with pride.  The relationships and experiences I built there are invaluable.  I’ve also participated in the University Chorus, Men’s Chorus, Basketball Band and Symphony Band.  was asked to arrange and compose piece for the university’s Trumpet Ensemble and had my works premiered in concert.  Outside the standard music curriculums, I was drawn to independently study, under faculty supervision, music psychology.  Also I’ve taken private lessons in arranging music and have acted as assistant stage manager to the BSU Opera Company.  Overall I am spirited toward the pursuit of music and the eagerness of young minds inspires me to be the best instructor I may be in order to instill a similar love of  music as I carry in my heart.
